Why Are There Spots on the Paper?

You may notice some slight stains on the cigarette paper. This is completely normal and actually a good thing!

The spots are caused by the flower being incredibly fresh and resinous. Our indoor-grown THCa flower is so high in terpenes and natural oils that some of that sticky, cannabinoid-rich resin seeps into the paper. This is a sign of quality, not spoilage.

In fact, we made this improvement based on your feedback. Our customers told us they wanted fresher, more terpy cannabis, so we invested more money into sourcing better, fresher flower. This led to the unexpected “staining” issue, but we see it as a natural result of raising the quality bar.

Sure, you gain in quality, you might sacrifice a bit in aesthetics. But the trade-off is totally worth it - this flower is so much better than our prototypes.
